Saratoga County RPC is a non-profit organization which includes VETHELP and Saratoga Regional Housing Services, and is governed by a full-time Executive Director and a volunteer board of directors. We work in partnership with the Department of Veterans Affairs, the US Department of Housing and Urban Development and other agencies to provide veterans and others with both shelter and support within an environment that offers dignity, integrity and, most of all, hope. The Saratoga County RPC was formed and incorporated under a grant from the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal in January 1983. The Rural Preservation Program was established by Article XVII of the Private Housing Finance Law of New York State. Saratoga County RPC has expanded to include:
- Transitional housing for homeless male and female veterans
- Permanent housing for veterans and their families
- Employment and training assistance for veterans
- Rental assistance programs
- Mortgage assistance for affordable home ownership
