The Executive Director will oversee the company’s three major divisions which include; veteran’s related programs. housing programs and community development initiatives. Executive Director of Saratoga County Rural Preservation Company (SCRPC)
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director (ED) will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for the SCRPC staff, programs, and execution of its mission. S/he will develop deep knowledge of field, core programs, operations, and business plans. The successful candidate must be committed to the organizational mission and the populations it serves. Outstanding communication skills are necessary to develop and nurture strong connections in the community. The ED must be able to develop the organization’s strategic direction and clearly articulate it to staff and stakeholders. The ED must be able to provide the vision for the organization, and provide the necessary leadership to reach it.
Leadership & Management:
quality of finance and administration, fundraising, communications, and systems; recommend
timelines and resources needed to achieve strategic goals
measure successes that can be effectively communicated to the board, donors, and other constituents
Fundraising & Communications:
the goal of creating a stronger brand
Minimum of five (5) years of senior management experience with a proven track
record of effectiveness; experience in managing non-profit organizations preferred
high-performance teams, set and achieve strategic objectives, and manage a budget
range of stakeholders and constituencies
